Marwan Haddad founded Katana Inu in 2021 and has led the project from initial concept to a fully playable AA multiplayer title built in Unreal Engine 5. Over five years, he oversaw the complete production cycle: gameplay systems, visual direction, character and weapon production (100+ skins, 100+ weapons), cinematic trailers, token ecosystem design, exchange listings, and cross-functional team coordination at peak scale of 35+ developers.
Background spanning 20+ years in tech, creative direction, and digital product development, including a web agency built from 2009 and hands-on expertise in graphic design, motion, brand systems, and game visual direction. He personally directed every visual element of Katana Inu, from character aesthetics to UI systems and cinematic trailers.
Key milestones: deployment of ~$11.5M across game and ecosystem infrastructure; Steam open beta launched; 100K+ community and 40K+ token holder base built; blockchain ecosystem partnerships coordinated; and a strategic transition from Web3-origin project to a game-first, multi-platform IP targeting PC, console, and mobile.
